Update 4.15

Max Level

Prepare yourself and your people to face the changes on Planet Novus with more fierce and challenging battles in RF Online with the seventh RF Online Update: Age of Patron. With this update, your battles will definitely be more interesting and more exciting than before because you will be able to enjoy new adventure maps, new systems and new items.

Here are the details of the Age of Patron update information:

  • Max Level: 70
  • Race Special: High Gold MAU, New Siege Kit, Animus lv 71
  • New Daily Quest.
  • New Items.
  • New Areas to Explore (New Map).
  • New Monsters and Pit Boss.
  • New Dungeon Battle.

New Special Race

Accretia Empire

With weapons that can destroy anything, Accretia comes with a new Siege Kit that is ready to destroy all enemies in front of it.

Bellato Union

Having a Massive Armor Unit (MAU) with 2 types, namely Catapult and Goliath, now comes with more powerful power and is equipped with a Panzer Generator, thus increasing the power of the MAU.

Holy Aliance Cora

The only race that can summon Animus (Isis, Hecate, Paimon and Inana) where each Animus has its own abilities that are very suitable for all conditions on the battlefield.

Certificate of Daily Complete

Only characters with a minimum level of 70 can get this item when completing daily quests

Can be exchanged by combining with the Hero NPC and will get certain items.

  • 5 Certificates = Talic Box (10 pcs of Talic)
  • 25 Certificates = Box Armor (Level 70 Normal)
  • 45 Certificates = Booster Reward Box ( [Accretia] / [Bellato] / [Cora])
  • 65 Certificates = Accessory Reward Box ( [Accretia] / [Bellato] / [Cora])
  • 85 Certificates = Box Armor (Level 70 Rare B)
  • 198 Certificates = Box Armor (Level 70 Rare D)

Quest to Unlock EXP

In this update, the quest to unlock EXP (level 50 and 56) is simply by reporting to the NPC Race Manager of each Races, click Conversation and you will get a reward.

Quest:

  • The Awakening I for Level 50
  • The Awakening II for Level 56

Go to NPC Race Manager, click Conversation

Elite Soldier Training Quest

This quest is divided into 3 level categories:
Level 51 – 55
Level 56 – 60
Level 61 – 65

And in each level category there are 2 types of quests, namely:
Solo Quest
Group Quest

You can take this quest through the Hero NPC in each races. Go to first portal in HQ to area transfer to Elite Training School area.

  • Elite Army Training School (56-60)
  • Elite Army Training School (61-65)

New Items

Patron Weapon

All patron weapon have been listed here: Patron Weapons. Including normal weapon, Rare B, Rare C Strong, and Rare D.

Patron Armors

Patron Armors set are level 70 armors in RF Online. Introduced in RF Online 4.15 “Age of Patron“.

New Item Crafting Materials

Item Crafting Materials Flawless Metallic Crystal
Flawless Stone Crystal
Flawless Mineral Crystal

You can only farm materials to craft Patron Weapon level 70, Patron Armor level 70 and shield level 70 in Destroyed Novazan Island or known as Novajan. Just remember the type of monsters you want to kill:

  • Snatcher family = crafting patron weapon
  • Crawler family = crafting patron armor (helmet, upper and gloves)
  • Vafer family = crafting patron armor (lower, shoes) and shield 70.

Flawless Metallic Crystal to craft patron weapon

Flawless Stone Crystal to craft patron armor (helmet, upper and gloves)

Flawless Mineral Crystal to craft patron armor (lower, shoes) and shield 70.

New Map

Destroyed Novazan Fortress

Destroyed Novazan Fortress (Novajan / Wounded Land) is a homeland of some monsters family, Snatcher Family, Crawler Family, and Vafer Family.

Caravan’s Space Time

Go to Destroyed Novazan Fortress. There is some restrictions when entering this map:

Don’t worry if your character get killed by monsters there, your character will not go HQ, instead respawned in Caravan’s first portal.

List all monsters:

Jetso Island (Forest)

Jetso Island is isolated place, you can only enter this place by go to your race settlement and then find the portal. Only enter if you’re level 61 up. This place is good for leveling until you level 66 or maybe 70!

Quest Mark

In the new update you can see the location of your quest by:

  • Go to the map where the quest is located
  • Open your quest from the quest journal (shortcut key “J”)
  • You will see a map appear and green dots where your quest is located
  • After you arrive at the quest location, there will be a green mark above your quest target.

Compare Item

In the new update you can see the Item comparison between the item you are using and the item you are viewing by hovering over the item.

Auto Target

In the new update you can do targeting without using the mouse by:

  • Activate targeting via settings (shortcut key “O”)
  • Choose any options that will be included in your auto target (in this case you can choose monsters, other nations and or your own nation)
  • then press the “TAB” key on your keyboard then you will do auto target without using the mouse

Description:

  • Selection Based on Character is choosing a target randomly, and can move targets
  • Selection Based on Mouse is choosing the target closest to the character and can also be done by pointing the cursor at the target then pressing “TAB” on the keyboard.

Note:
With the change in the key to “TAB”, the shortcut to change the row of macro skills can use the “~” key.

WASD Key Changes

In the new update there are key changes when in “Keyboard Mode”
Previously:
Q = Rotate screen to the left
E = Rotate screen to the right
A = Move to the left
D = Move to the right
W = Move Forward
S = Move Backward

After Update:
Q = Move to the left
E = Move to the right
A = Rotate screen to the left
D = Rotate screen to the right
W = Move Forward
S = Move Backward
